Prophetess Deborah McCorley

Prophetess Deborah McCorley re-dedicated her life to Christ in 1991 at St. Stevens Church of God in Christ in San Diego, CA. The McCorleys were Married in 1993 with two stipulations on the marriage. The first stipulation was that the marriage was under a 100 year contract. Meaning that after 100 years if anybody was unhappy they could leave. The second stipulation was where ever the Navy sent her husband, she was going as well. Prophetess Deborah McCorley has been married to Apostle Mark McCorley for 27 years with 4 children. Unbeknownst to them, it was God’s plan for this marriage to be a ministry team that spread the gospel wherever the Navy sent them. While living in Hawaii she could be found greeting congregants at the door of Ala Moana Military Reservation Chapel (AMR). I would rather be a doorkeeper in the house of my God than dwell in the tents of the wicked. Psalms 84:10. Hawaii was also a time of learning and developing as God prepared Prophetess McCorley for the ministerial journey she was about to embark on. The time in Hawaii quickly passed and the Lord gave the McCorley’s orders to Sasebo, Japan. A friend asked “what are you going to do if you get to Japan and there is no church?” Without giving it a thought, Prophetess McCorley said, “I guess we will be having church at our kitchen table.” Once arriving in Sasebo, Japan Prophetess McCorley began worshiping at the Hario Gospel Service. Shortly after joining the Gospel Service, the members were informed that the Hario Gospel Service would be discontinued. Prophetess McCorley was one of the three establishmentarians of Greater Harvest Holiness Church. This church was started in the McCorley family home, at the kitchen table. Prophetess McCorley ministered in other areas around Sasebo: Director of Vacation Bible School for 2 years, President of the Spouse Support Group for the USS Fort McHenry, Lead Women’s Bible Study for Fleet Activity Sasebo Chapel.

Prophetess McCorley has always said, “I do not need a title to do the work that God has called me to do.” However, with the labor came the titles. Prophetess McCorley was Licensed an Evangelist/Missionary by the late Bishop Archie Buchanan. As one of an establishmentarians of House of Prayer Church in Gurnee, IL Prophetess McCorley was given the title of Co-Pastor. She was Elevated into the office of a Prophet by Apostle Ernest and Prophetess Barbra Taylor, of Word of Life Ministries (Kingdom Covenant Fellowship). The one title that she loves and cherishes the most is A Child Of God.
